This Sunday I’ve found myself in bed with….
I am really really enjoying this book. I love seeing a modern Holmes and Watson especially in the younger age. I love that Holmes is a girl and that Cavallaro hasn’t feminized her but keeps her true to the inspiration. James Watson is really cute and makes for a Watson that I find far more entertaining than the original. A fair warning though there is definitely some romance in this one. For the most part it does seem one-sided but I think if we saw more into Charlotte’s mind it wouldn’t be completely one-sided. I’m ok with the romance but I know a lot of reviewers aren’t so before picking this one up I just wanted to put that disclaimer up. I’m hoping to wrap this up in the next couple days and get my review up.

Glad to hear that you’re enjoying it! It was on my TBR, but I kind of dropped it in favour of other more pressing books, haha. I’ve been hearing so many good things about it though and I like that Holmes hasn’t been feminised, that’d be interesting to see. 🙂
I spent my whole weekend not reading anything and playing The Sims, so I woke up with… my laptop? xD

Omg I love the Sims!! Which one were you playing? I havent played Sims 4 yet but I’m hoping to get a laptop soon.
As for the book it was sort of on my radar but not really. I’ve just finished a rather long string of fantasy books and was lookin for something a little more contemporary so when i went to Barnes and Noble I decided to pick this up (as well as another fantasy book lol)
